How do we put into words all the amazing changes we have seen over the past 4 months? How do we express a heart-felt Thank you to one of the best trainers we have ever had the pleasure of working with? We rescued a 9 month old pit bull mix over one year ago. Lulu came to us fearful/skittish, high adrenaline, leash reactive, and extremely out of control. We went through TWO dog trainers in 9 months but we were not any closer to 'rescuing' our pup from the stereotypes that comes with the bully breed. We were so at a loss as to how to help her become well mannered and balanced. Enter, Jen from At the End of Your Leash. Our lives changed on July 3, 2012. Yes, we remember that day as if it was yesterday, because it was the day that Jen saved our sweet pup's life and changed our family for the better. We still have alot to learn about Pack Leadership, but we have seen amazing changes in Lulu. She walks GREAT on a leash (no more pulling), her leash reactivity went from 2 minutes to 3 seconds, she is no longer as scared or fearful (because she trusts us) and she is now more calm and on her way to becoming a well balanced dog. One of the greatest gift Jen gave us is the ability to communicate with Lulu. The best part about working with Jen, besides all the great seminars offered, is her passion to help clients become "the person your dog thinks you are". We are forever indebted to her.
